I’m not just photography, as much as I enjoy that. I also write poetry and prose over at A Bloke Dyslexic. Some people like to combine their visual art with their written work but I prefer to keep them seperate, hence seperate websites.
I’m not quite sure why? I think it might be that I like the words to speak for themselves without any visual prompt and the photography and (dare I use the term?) art without any words. That way the viewer and reader can interpret it as they feel and respond as they like.
I don’t see why a reader or viewer should be led by the nose…
There’s also a few books:
Of the Sea by me, which you’ll find on Amazon wherever you may be. The link is for the UK but you’ll be able to get a paperback or ebook from your local Amazon:

My first novel, Life and Liberty which is also available on Amazon:

And I’m merely an editor on Life, Nature and the Spirit, which is a collection of my late mother’s poetry which I found scattered around the house when she went into care:

I sometimes have copies of the above at markets and events but space is tight and mostly I don’t…
Nice to see you putting your work out here a bit more, Aidan. I so enjoyed your novel. I shall have to read some of your poetry!
Thanks, Val. You were the only one to kindly review ‘Life and Liberty’ (as usual!) but there were more reviews for ‘Of the Sea’. I’m proud of them both but I’m not great at oushing and promoting them, as everyone else and their dog is doing the same. It’s hard to get noticed amidst the ‘noise’ as you well know with your own books. Link below for anyone else reading this:
